You have to replace the desire with something else. I would go for other things such as chewing gum. Or just kind of suck on a toothpick or something just to kind of keep
your mouth busy, your hands busy. Times when I am active, not smoking is a lot easier than times when I’m not active. If you’re craving a cigarette, you just have to let somebody know and then they can help talk you out of it. You need to find something that works for you. There are support resources out there to help. Check with your health and counseling center on campus, your health insurance plan may also offer programs to help.
