Its founders began the organization in 2007 because of Steve Perry and his abuse of some of our most vulnerable citizens. They set up MASH to protect and provide housing for people in recovery. I have been a sober home owner for 15 years. I refinanced my home and provided every penny of savings for a down payment to allow the opening of our house and contrary to many articles I have read, it is not a lucrative business for the average person with a mortgage in Massachusetts. If the news constantly sheds a negative light on what most sober home owners do to help others, it won't be long before there are no people interested in providing such an important role in recovery. I am so grateful that we have the privilege and honor to provide a comfortable, safe home to some outstanding people. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
